When international teams meet in Vienna, many look for something between a hotel conference room and an office: a space where the group can work for a day without interruptions, with someone who takes care of the setup. Before you book, a few questions help you compare venues.

Questions worth asking before you book

Will you have exclusive use of the space?

For confidential topics or focused work, it matters whether other groups are in the building at the same time. Ask who else has access to the space during your booking and whether you share entrances, break areas or bathrooms.

Is there a dedicated contact for your event?

A day away from the office comes with many small details: setup, technology, catering, timing. A dedicated contact who knows your booking saves you emails with several people.

Can the room be set up for working, presenting and breaks?

Most meetings switch between presentations, group work and breaks. Ask which seating options are possible and whether the setup can be changed during the day.

Is there outdoor space for a break?

After a long morning session, a few minutes outside help. Ask whether there is a courtyard or terrace and how it can be used, depending on the weather.

How easy is it to get there?

Participants who travel from abroad appreciate a venue that is easy to reach by public transport. Send clear directions with the invitation.

Which language will you work in?

Many international teams work in English. Agree on a working language and check that the venue team can support you in that language.
